Curriculum for Excellence - how to help learners achieve excellence!
Destiny Church invites you to a FREE twilight session with leading Neuro-Metacognitive learning specialist, educationalist and author DR CAROLINE LEAF.
Last year’s event about
the ‘5-Step Learning Process’, was such a success and
we had lots of feedback and comments from the delegates
for more of this, that we invited Dr Caroline Leaf
again. This year’s topic is ‘Gifting’. This CPD event
is free for teachers, parents, learners and all who
work in the education sector.
In this climate of inclusion, it makes sense that educationalists are aware of the current research which would enable them to maximize engagement of students and offer personalisation of the learning experience. The ‘Curriculum for Excellence’ lays out an entitlement for a
“Relevant, inspiring, engaging education for every child and young person in Scotland”
As a researcher of the brain, Dr Caroline Leaf, is ideally placed to help educationalists fully understand how this might be achieved.
A leading Keynote speaker, Dr. Leaf has worked with approximately 80,000 people (learners, educators and lecturers) over the past 20 years and has reached millions through television internationally. Her research has proven that learners using the Switch On Your Brain 5-Step Learning Process will increase their potential performance to between 35%-75%!
The approaches to understanding learning offered by this speaker will encourage you and inform you of HOW the brain works and of HOW you, as a teacher, can enhance the delivery of your curriculum to ensure improved attainment.
