Get Involved
We are building a team of 50 people to help launch Destiny Shawlands, and we'd love you to be part of it.
We're looking for people who feel called by God, are passionate about reaching the community, and are excited about helping build a thriving local church from the ground up. Whether your gifts are in hospitality, worship, children's work, production, administration, outreach, or simply serving wherever needed, there is a place for you on the team.
We're also looking for people who can help practically with the renovation and preparation of our building. From painting, decorating, cleaning, and DIY projects to helping create welcoming spaces for people to encounter God, your skills and willingness to serve can make a real difference.
This is more than attending a church - it's joining a mission. We're looking for committed people who are ready to pray, serve, give, and help create a church that makes a lasting impact in Shawlands. No passengers - everyone plays a part. Together, we can build a church where people encounter Jesus, find community, and discover their purpose.

Parking
On street parking is free around the church. There is also a multi-story carpark across the road

The nearest train station is Crossmyloof, with the Shawlands station also within walking distance
Bus Information
First Buses number 57 and 57A stop directly across the road from the church, with all 38’s (all letter varieties) stopping a short distant away on Kilmarnock Road
