We will believe God.
We will believe God’s word above all other voices and opinions.
We will submit to God in humility and obedience, knowing then that we can resist the devil and he will have to flee from our lives, our church, and our families. (James 4:6-7)
We will not trust in our own fleshly abilities, or endeavour to live life this year by our own efforts and ingenuity, but lean fully on the Holy Spirit, looking to him for wisdom and many supernatural breakthroughs. (Prov 3:5-6)
We will continually humble ourselves before God, knowing that in doing so he will in due time exalt us. (1Pet 5:6)
We expect and anticipate the protection, the provision, the health and the healing and the favour of God in our lives- families and church (Ps 91:1-4)
We will seek Gods interests above our own.
We will seek His kingdom and seek the good of His house, the church. We will thirst for God and seek him both privately and corporately. (Matt 6:33)
We will do all that we can to walk with integrity. We will treat all our brothers and sisters with dignity and respect. We will honour our leaders and fully support their Leadership (1 Pet 2:17)
We will speak up, reach out, and proclaim the amazing Gospel of Jesus Christ. We expect more people to come to know Jesus this year than in any year before (Rom 1:16)
We refuse to give in to fear, we will not be overwhelmed by anxiety, but enjoy the peace that passes all understanding. We will pursue truth and walk in the light, being truthful and transparent. (Phil 4:6-8)
We will raise our children to know the Lord, to live by his word and honour his ways. (Prov 22:6)
We will share what we have with generous hearts. Gratitude will be our watchword and thankfulness our password. Worship will be our way of life, and service our consistent practice. (Gal 6:10)
We say over this year that our greatest ambition is not to make a name but to serve one and make Jesus famous in our homes and cities. (John 3:30)
We declare over 2023 that JESUS IS LORD (Phil 2:9-11)
