Dear eNews Friends & Family,

Day 8 of conflict

Only a few days ago we were all looking forward to some normality from covid when all hell breaks loose on innocent people in Ukraine. Over a million have now left their homes and fled for their lives. They never anticipated this scenario even just a few days ago.

A wild Bear has been unleashed towards the west and no one knows where this will stop. The conflict is on our door step.

This shows our urgent and desperate need for God like never before. And it shows the urgent need for prayer with fasting.

God the Holy Spirit is with us wants to help us with comfort and lead us into victory.

How can you help?

Click below to donate into our Ukraine Urgent Relief Fund which will be going to our Destiny Romania team who are on the ground working with the refugees who are crossing their border.

Youth & Children can get involved with the appeal by donating blankets, soft cuddly toys and kids/ youth clothes. These can be dropped on Sunday in our Glasgow City or Shawlands buildings where these will be processed and shipped over to the team.

Sue and I have just been at the Welsh National prayer breakfast where for the first time the Welsh first minister (Mark Drakeford) thought the season challenging enough to join us in prayer.

This is an important time for prayer.

This weekend is our weekend of prayer and fasting- please fast with us, and if at all possible join us as we seek his grace at Encounter this Sunday evening.

We will be sending out a video each morning (Friday to Sunday) to encourage us all with our praying.

Find it in your inbox or in the Destiny App (Available in all app stores)

Look forward to seeing you over the weekend.

God bless,
