Pastor Andrew Owen
Dear eNews friends and church members,
MAKE IT IN MARCH
But we aren’t the only ones wanting to transform this planet, we live in a swirling morass of conflicting agendas.
Of these agendas, some are good, others neutral and some down right evil.
We have some BIG advantages.
Of all the gods pulling strings on planet earth, our God is the God of gods – the King of kings. We are not naive enough to deny the existence of hostile forces, demonic giants holding cities and nations, we simply believe that their destruction is certain and our victory already decreed without doubt. Don’t let them hold you!
Have you ever wondered which is the most quoted Old Testament verse within the New Testament?
It surprised me when I discovered it.
It’s this verse:
“The LORD says to my Lord: “Sit at My right hand Until I make Your enemies a footstool for Your feet.””
PSALMS 110:1 NASB
Quoted by 7 out of the 9 New Testament writers.
It’s fighting talk and a most powerful prophetic statement. It’s God the Father talking to God the Son.
We need to fully understand that God intends to outwork this through His church – US!!!!
So when we are saying let’s MAKE IT IN MARCH, we are not simply suggesting a nice idea for an emerging spring time. This is a call to arms, a time to be deadly serious about our commitments. It’s time to show our allegiance and loyalty to the King of kings and Lord of lords.
The harvest is ready, the fight for souls severe – are we really up for it?
The church needs the resource to fight, the income and the volunteers to present themselves for duty in this, the battle of the ages.
MAKE IT IN MARCH means we are reaching for a 100% tithing community. All of us need to step up to the plate and trust God. Further, can those of us already doing this, increase our giving (not necessarily tithing) by 25% from this month onwards? If we did, there would be no shortfall and full budget, the rolling out of an intense evangelism programme would be adequately underwritten.
In the last awful and destructive World War, a time when millions died, it was said: All that it takes for evil to succeed is for good men to do nothing
The follow-on verse in Psalm 110 tells: Your people will volunteer freely in this the day of your power
Count me in!
Praying for a significant weekend all across the Destiny Family.
