Dave ThomsonCounselling Pastor
Dave is a counselling pastor at Destiny Church. He is a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy and an accredited member of The Association of Christian Counsellors. Knowledgeable in a wide range of topics across mental health and wellbeing, Dave has a passion for helping people create a meaningful and purpose-filled future for themselves and others. Dave has been married to Anne for 32 years, they have three children and one granddaughter. He loves teaching and learning new things. Dave hopes to continue to fulfil what God has called him to do with enthusiasm and freedom amongst a vibrant and growing community of believers.


Gracia MwimbaConsultant Psychiatrist
Gracia is a consultant psychiatrist who is practising in Scotland. She grew up in the Congo and Zambia and did her medical training at the University of Zambia. She furthered her studies in Health and Development in Belgium and completed her postgraduate studies in Wales and Scotland. Having over 13 years of experience in the field of psychiatry, Gracia is an honorary lecturer in child mental health at the University of Glasgow. She is the mother of a boisterous daughter and loves running, cooking and dancing. Gracia’s passion is to improve the wellbeing of every person she crosses paths with. She believes the word of God contains true wisdom that can maintain health, wellbeing and bring true wholeness.


Ayiko AzikuEditor and Creative
Ayiko is a fashion entrepreneur with a background in information technology. She helps lead a small group and loves content creation and storytelling. She writes a blog and maintains a YouTube channel discussing health, self-image and faith. Ayiko’s passion is to encourage others to share their story through various forms of expression, whether it be writing or blogging.




Sophie MathewProject Coordinator
Sophie is a final year medical student at the University of Glasgow. She leads the stewarding team in the West End campus. In her free time, she loves playing rugby and getting outdoors hillwalking and camping. Her passion is to share the hope and joy she found in the person of Jesus, so that everyone can walk into all God has for them without fear of the future.
