Our 2024 Confession

Practical Advice: Pray and speak this over yourself and your family throughout the year.

“O give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; For His lovingkindness endures forever.”
- 1 Corinthians 16:34 AMP

Creating by Confessing

As God created this world by speaking out His word, we are also encouraged to create our world by speaking out His word, we call this ‘our confession’. These words create the world around us.

“Words kill, words give life; they’re either poison or fruit-you choose”.

- (Proverbs 18:21 MSG)

“Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful”.

- (Hebrews 10:23)

A Personal confession into 2024

(As you read insert YOUR name where noted.)

With a grateful and thankful heart, I speak out my confession into this year ahead. I determine at the outset of this year to seek God with all my heart, submit to His rule over my life and always believe His presence is with me.

“For He Himself has said, ‘I will never leave you, (say your name) nor will I ever forsake you’ “

- (Hebrews 13:5)

I confess that there is only One true God, God exists as three distinct personalities, God our Father, God the Son, our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ, and God the mighty Holy Spirit sent to live with me and live in me. I confess that God is good, and He is Love. All good things come from Him.

“Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good”.

- (1 Chronicles 16:34)

I confess that because of this love I have been given abundant life and raised with Jesus into a position of great privilege and authority. I am seated with Christ in heavenly realms. Jesus is my Lord and Satan is under my feet.

“And God raised (say your name) with Christ and seated (say your name) with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus”.

- (Ephesians 2:6)

I confess that I will see His goodness manifest in my life this year.

“I (say your name) will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living”

- (Psalm 27:13)

I confess that God is intentional about my prosperity, protection, and wellbeing.

“For I know the plans I have for you, (say your name) declares the Lord, plans to prosper you (say your name) and not to harm you, plans to give you (say your name) hope and a future”.

- (Jeremiah 29:11)

I readily acknowledge my utter dependency on Him, He is my source, life, and supplier. I will not be anxious or fearful. I will return the tithe, bring in the offering and walk in the blessed life.

I confess that God intends for my life to be increasingly effective as a witness and more fruitful as a believer.

“This is to my Father’s glory, that I (say your name) bear much fruit, showing myself to be His disciple”.

- (John15:8)

I therefore declare myself available on this day and each day throughout this year for God to use me as he wills.

I call into being the lives that are to be saved, healed, and added because of God’s grace on me.

I confess that God’s favour is on my life, so I am expecting open doors of opportunity and influence to make His name famous.

“For it is you who blesses the righteous; you surround (say your name) with favour as with a shield”.

- (Psalm 5:12)

I confess that I am uniquely made, created intentionally in this body for divine purpose.

“I praise you because I (say your name) am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful; I know that full well”.

- (Psalm 139:14)

I confess that I am invited, included, and completed through a covenant relationship with my God, this New Covenant is forever established through the precious blood of Jesus.

“For this is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for (say your name) unto remission of sins”.

- (Matthew 26:28)

I confess that I am always stronger because of this covenant. Therefore, I will lean into God when weak, stand on His word when circumstances shake, and be sure to always depend on His grace.

“Let the weak say, I am strong [a warrior]! “

- (Joel 3:10)

I confess that I need others to journey life together. God has placed me in his family the church. I will love the church as Jesus’ bride and be true and faithful in relationships. God intends for me to be complete, and so complete others as we love on and love with each other.

I confess that Jesus is Lord of my life.

 OUR CORPORATE CONFESSION INTO 2024

In that we have decided to follow Jesus, committed ourselves to His cause and His house the church, we confess together that:

  • We shall expect more souls saved in 2024 than in any previous year.

  • We will see more people baptised than in any previous year.

  • We will see more people added than in any previous year.

“For I am with you (Destiny Church), and no one is going to attack you and harm you, because I have many people in this city”.

- (Acts 18:10)

We shall believe that God will give us a part and a portion in the nations of the world.

“Ask of Me (Destiny Church), and I will surely give the nations as your inheritance, and the very ends of the earth as your possession”.

- (Psalm 2:8)

Our God will resource the mission and provide through us and others for the harvest. We will ask God for boldness, and we WILL see the Holy Spirit move with us and bring healing to a hurting world.

“Now Lord …, enable your servants (Destiny Church) to speak your Word with great boldness.

Stretch out your hand to heal and perform signs and wonders through the name of your Holy servant Jesus”.

- (Acts 4: 29-30)

We will live to give, allowing the provisions of God to come to us and through us which will result in supernatural increase in His house.

“Now He who supplies seed to the Sower (that’s me -and say your name) and bread for food will also supply and increase MY store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of MY righteousness”

- (2 Corinthians 9:10)

In 2024 we will grow deeper in His love, warmer in our fellowship, become better at discipling others and more passionate about His cause than ever before. We will become more acquainted with His anointing and lean on and trust the Holy Spirit to enable us and empower us at every turn. In 2024 we will stand up, grow up and rise up to be ALL and more that God intended, for we KNOW that God is with us.

“And Jesus said to him, If you can? ALL things are possible to him who believes”.

- (Mark 9:23)

We will walk with each other in faithfulness, work with God in faith and expectations and eagerly look for the return of Jesus knowing he is returning soon as triumphant King.

While we wait, we will continually CONFESS that:

Jesus is Lord!
