Destiny Community Counselling is a Ministry of Destiny Church. We have been operating counselling in the community since 2005. Our vision is to help people transform personal challenges into life-enhancing opportunities. Our priority is to value and respect each client’s unique individuality by tailoring therapeutic interventions according to each person’s needs
Why Counselling?
Counselling can help with a number of life challenges. Counselling offers a safe environment where people can talk. The counsellor is there to listen and provide support as well as to help you explore issues that are troubling you. Maybe you just feel stuck; speaking to a trained counsellor can help you see things from a new perspective and equip you with resources to move forward.

All of our counsellors are fully trained practitioners or in their final year placement, with a range of theoretical approaches to counselling that adhere to an ethical framework of practice. They engage in regular clinical supervision and complete continuous professional development training.
Our counsellors may come from many different denominations, but all live a life of Christian faith. This means they can discuss faith issues with clients if requested.
Cost
Our heart is to provide services to you regardless of your ability to pay, so we ask that you:

◦ Pay what you would typically pay, or
◦ Pay what you would typically pay, plus a little extra.
Make a donation.
All free-will donations help us continue to serve this community, develop our service, and provide training. When considering the amount, know that most counsellors charge between £35 – £60 per session.
